The dog biscuit is a strange but effective fly. Because it is made almost entirely of spun hair it floats high and floats forever. This is a great fly for hatchery trout used to eating pellets. It also works very well on carp. You can even trick fish looking for terrestrials and caddis flies with the dog biscuit fly. An orange spot on top serves as an indicator to help you keep your eye on the fly.
