Description
The Letort hopper is a simple but very effective fly that was created by Ed Shank. It does an excellent job of mimicking grasshoppers and other terrestrials but it can also be mistaken by stoneflies and caddisflies by hungry fish. It works well on the dead drift or with a little bit of movement to bring fish in.
