Description
The indicator beetle is a foam fly with durable legs that works well throughout the warm months. The orange dot on its back makes the fly visible to anglers though it cannot be seen by the fish. As the name would indicate this fly is great for use as the lead in a two fly dropper combo instead of a strike indicator because when a fish hits this they can be hooked. When they hit a regular strike indicator the only thing you get is shock or disappointment.
